WATCH: The Walcotts, ’Should’ve Been Me’

Aug 17, 2016

WATCH: The Walcotts, ’Should've Been Me’

Artist: The Walcotts
Hometown: Los Angeles, CA
Song: "Should've Been Me"
Album: Let the Devil Win
Release Date: September 16
Label: Local Hero Records

In Their Words: “’Should've Been Me’ was one of the first songs written and recorded for what became our band, the Walcotts. We thought it would be fun to go back to Fonogenic Studios where we recorded 10 of the 12 songs on our debut full-length album, Let the Devil Win, and do a video in the studio where the song really took on its form.

Craig Dacey (director) had this idea to do a video of this all on one camera in one continuous shot — no edits — and capture the nine of us in the studio at the same time. I call this our Birdman music video, since it is only one camera filming us the whole time (like how they filmed the movie Birdman).” — Tom Cusimano
