In Their Words: “This song is my favorite I’ve written to date. It was my way of processing what I did and didn’t want out of a romantic relationship. Having experienced a relationship where I was completely blindsided at the ending of it I reflected on how often I feel people want love but yet don’t want to work at it. I think many people have very warped definitions of love. It truly is so much more than a feeling and I want to be with someone who fully understands that.
