In Their Words: “During the spring of 2015, I was sitting on the couch — the windows and doors were open in the house. I was listening to the bustle outside, playing guitar, and wondering about love and if it ever comes back around after slamming the door and leaving bitterly. It was spring time in California and everything — I mean EVERY thing — was in bloom. It was evening time, but not yet dark. There were bullfrog sounds from the L.A. river, birds singing and building nests in the eves above me, children laughing and playing, an ice creams truck’s happy tune blasting through a ragged bullhorn as it moved down the street to greet the kids.
