“‘The Bridge was Meg’s first foray into songwriting, and it really was the impetus for creating The Brookses and crafting the album. I’ve been a songwriter and musician for many years, and I was impressed with the quality and maturity of her writing right out of the gate. We’ve been singing and playing together since Meg was a little girl — that family harmony is a real thing, just listen to the Carter Family, or the Louvin Brothers, or the Delmores.
