MOUNTAIN SONG AT SEA: Packing List (plus CABIN GIVEAWAY CONTEST!)

A month from now, we’ll be on board the Mountain Song at Sea cruise along with Del McCoury, Bryan Sutton, Tim O’Brien, Peter Rowan, Punch Brothers, Della Mae, David Grisman Sextet, and The Steep Canyon Rangers and we CAN’T. FREAKING. WAIT.

But putting a bunch of ‘grassers on a boat in the Carribean is a slightly different environment than most of us are used to.  Never fear!  The Sitch is here to bring you an essential packing list so you too can be ready for the big trip.

C’mon now.  This one goes without saying.  We’re on a cruise for goodness sake.  Hope you’ve been working out after the holidays…
 

• ANTI-SEASICKNESS WRISTBANDS

You don’t want to be the one stuck in your cabin, spending more quality time with your toilet than with Woody and the rest of the Steeps, do you??
 

• BANJO PICKS

When the sun goes down, you can be sure we’ll be hanging out til the wee hours in one of the ships several Jam Rooms (including The Bluegrass Situation’s own spot along the back of the ship!)
 

• SUNSCREEN

Let’s be honest: we’re bloggers.  We have more experience with computer screens than sunscreens.  But this one’s gonna be essential.

CONTEST RULES:

GRAND PRIZE WINNER IS PROVIDED ONE (1) OCEAN VIEW CABIN FOR TWO (2) ON MOUNTAIN SONG AT SEA CRUISE, SAILING OUT OF MIAMI FROM FEBRUARY 1-4, 2013.  PRIZE ALSO INCLUDES ADMISSION TO ALL ONBOARD CONCERTS, ALL ONBOARD MEALS, USE OF SHIP FACILITIES AND VENUES, PREPAID PORT TAXES AND TICKETING FEES.

WINNER MUST PROVIDE THEIR OWN AIRFARE, HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS  TRAVEL INSURANCE, GROUND TRANSPORT, EXPENSES INCURRED WHILE IN PORT, ALCOHOLIC OR CARBONATED BEVERAGES, AND GRATUITIES ($12 PER PERSON PER DAY).  PRIZE DOES NOT INCUDE SPECIAL MEET AND GREETS, VIP PASSES, OR BACKSTAGE ACCESS.

WINNER MUST BE 21 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER, UNLESS ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT OVER THE AGE OF 25 IN THE SAME CABIN.
