In Their Words: “On the eve of moving to Raleigh, North Carolina, I received some terrible news about the future of this band, Grizzly Goat. It was the type of blow that nearly ended the band right then and there, a real gut punch. The next morning in a fog of disappointment and heartbreak, I wrote this strangely upbeat song. Who knows why it came out that way. Fortunately, the band overcame and out of this harrowing close call, we had our next single! Grizzly Goat has been together in some form since 2013, when we were in our early 20s. We’ve all had so many path altering experiences over the last decade; college, marriages, birth and loss, cross-country moves. Our unwavering passion for creating music together hasn’t come without its challenges and sometimes navigating the turbulence is fatiguing.
