In Their Words: “This concept album is filled with grief, heartbreak, and familial baggage. There are several points on the record that seem pretty grim and hopeless. But threaded through every track, there is that sliver of hope for redemption, and that’s the role this track serves on the album. It wraps up the record with a prayer. ‘Lord, I can’t conquer any of this familial baggage on my own — I need You.’ The only track that incorporates fiddle, this one also stretches the Texas soul spectrum a bit more.
