In Their Words: “I have been on so many road trips that shouldn’t have worked out, but did. The first big one was driving a 1978 Datsun Chinook camper down to Texas, over to California and up the coast, and back to Minneapolis in my early 20s. Since then, it’s mostly been with a band in a van that most people would be scared to drive across town.
