In Their Words: "'Dreaming Heart' is a song about feeling alone in a crowd — about being detached from your surroundings because your heart and mind are with someone who is not there. It was written on a walk along the shoreline of Lake Michigan in the northeast corner of Chicago. It's a neighborhood I have called home for more than 10 years, and it's a setting that seems to lend itself to reflection and contemplation. The song just sort of came out of the thin air as I was walking. It is full of ghosts. The music, as well as the message it carries, is very simple and direct, and it felt best to leave it that way, as if using a wide lens to capture something very personal and intimate." — Bahhaj Taherzadeh
