In addition to writing the songs, I played almost all of the instruments on the recordings which, for me, was a great experience because usually no one lets me play the drums. The songs themselves are tunes I’ve written over the last year or so that I thought were good but not necessarily appropriate for the other projects I was working on. A pack of strays.
