In Their Words: “I wrote the song ‘She Left Nashville’ over two years ago, late one cold Valentine‘s night. It was actually freezing outside; it was my first snow in Nashville. Someone I love had to leave town early and head back home to North Carolina because of the snow. This is my favorite video we captured. We recorded while driving through the Blue Ridge Mountains. It felt right to sit in the back of the car while driving through the mountains and singing my song, not to mention the beautiful green peeking through the fog as we drove further along the road.
