But threaded through every track, there is that sliver of hope for redemption, and that’s the role this track serves on the album. It wraps up the record with a prayer. ‘Lord, I canβt conquer any of this familial baggage on my own — I need You.’ The only track that incorporates fiddle, this one also stretches the Texas soul spectrum a bit more.
