In Their Words: "I wrote this song right when I moved back to Nashville from Austin. I had the vast landscape of the country on my brain. Adam, our producer, had the idea that I should add a tambourine part. After about a 20-second attempt, he gently suggested I turn the duty over to another band member. There's a reason I stick to guitar.
"This kind of sprang to mind upon thinking about being born in Los Angeles. I have lived in Tennessee most of my life and love it, but also feel a very strong bond with the West Coast. Perhaps it all ties in. I hope to live by an ocean at some point. There’s such a peaceful feeling near water.
